As the director of the team my personal skills and attributes are drive, passion, enthusiasm and leading to success. My presence and brand is already notable in Cyprus. I am known for having excellent people management and organisation skills. I have 20 years in the industry I can spot talent and I have the skills to inspire and bring results in the team! I am a confident public speaker and can engage and hold an audience.

Our target audience is anyone who is interested and cycling, cyclist as well as family, friends and parents. My events always incorporate a family atmosphere, our cycling academy is from junior school age up to adults and I plan to grow this into a house hold name (a go to place for cycling education.) Then we have our sportive and competitive market generally 16-60 years who will make up the mass number of attendees to any national events in Cyprus. Leading to our tourism market that chooses to train and tour with us in Cyprus, our presence is growing within Europe as well as further afield.

All social media will be continually interactive and we will start a vlog to gain extra followers on twitter, youtube, tweeter, facebook and instagram. All backed with hard and soft promotion of sponsor ensuring that all of the sponsors marketing objectives are met.

Currently our team is taking part in all national road cycling events, as we see the ability to win and being capable of competing at high level; we will be aiming for success in podium placements. Competing in international events in cycling and triathlon our main objective is to win The Tour of Cyprus and enter in international UCI Pro events within 5years.

Plan and Team Strategy for 3 and 5 years overview:

  • Year 1 Show podium results on all national events and establish an annual event. Grow academy.
  • Year 2 Continue success on podium placing top 3 in all categories in all events. Growing annual event with bigger numbers and increased exposure. Continue team academy and prepare for international races.
  • Year 3 making status apparent in national and international events attracting media interest at competitive level.
  • Year 4 introducing the first organic academy players into racing. Achieving top 3 positions in all national events and 1st in the cup series. Wins in international events. Continue expanding the annual event.
  • Year 5 Entering team into UCI level races.

This will cover the expenses of running the team full time with daily training and 100% national race attendance. Creating a strong 20 rider team that will have multiple member strengths for specific events equalling more wins. Sponsorship money equals progress and mentoring and will enable getting elite athletes in to full time training, maximizing our ability to take the team to Pro level.
